MHD has taken the lead in Greene and Columbia Counties installing Fiber Optic Infrastructure to support multiple municipalities, E911, Police, Fire and Rescue by seamlessly connecting thru our redundant Gigabit Fiber Infrastructure.
MHD continues to reach out to townships without Fiber by using the latest Gigabit Licensed Microwave systems. This method brings the same quality of service and network stability as Fiber giving the community the ability to communicate with adjacent County’s, Police, E911 and hospitals during emergency situations.
Our back end operations are staffed 24x7x365 locally in Greene and Columbia County’s. MHD does not outsource support.
MHD Designs, installs and maintains high end, middle-mile and last-mile infrastructure along with building state-of-the-art facilities.
MHD has acquired NYAir and WiSpring. Both are WISPS (wireless internet service providers) now together under the management of MHD will harness the latest technology.
NYAir operates in Greene, Columbia, Albany, Schoharie and Ulster Counties.
WiSpring operates in whole or in part of the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts serving South Egremont, Egremont, Mt. Washington, Great Barrington, Sheffield, Richmond, Tyringham, Lee and Leisure Lee
2016 is a big year for many of the communities listed above as MHD is leading the way bringing High Speed Internet using the latest technology. Both NYAir and WiSpring have undergone backbone upgrades. MHD has invested over a Million dollars over the past year building and provisioning infrastructure to support 4G LTE Fixed Wireless in many of NYAir and WiSpring footprint.
